Here is what's playing this week on Eye on Oshkosh

Tune in beginning Monday, Jan. 18 when Cheryl and guest co-host Dan Rylance continue their interviews with candidates in the upcoming spring election. In the first half hour Steve Cummings, a candidate for the Oshkosh Common Council, discusses why he’s running for office, why he is among those best qualified to serve and how he feels about some of the issues currently facing the city. This is Cummings’ second bid for office, having run for the first time last spring.

In the second half hour, former councilman Brian Poeschl discusses why he’s hoping to get back on the council following an absence of a few years. Poeschl also ran unsuccessfully in recent years, and despite some of the toughest times the city has seen in many years, shares why he wants to serve and how he feels about some of the more challenging and controversial issues.

In the Oshkosh area, “Eye on Oshkosh” can be seen Mondays at 7 p.m., Thursdays at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 6 p.m. Check with your local cable company or its TV listings for replay times in other, more outlying areas.
